Our core training modules can be delivered in-house for your council by our high-quality trainers, with content tailored to organisational training requirements.
In-house training ensures consistent learning of good practice across the whole council and provides a more open environment to discuss your most pressing issues. The training can be held virtually or locally to your trust, giving your governors the opportunity to meet and network outside formal council meetings. Course material can be designed for your training and development requirements, and to ensure consistency in learning across the whole council.
Since 2013 we have trained over 140 organisations, and in the past year 99% of delegates would recommend our in-house training to other governors.

We also provide council of governors' effectiveness surveys which allow foundation trusts to gather the views of governors on the collective effectiveness of the council. The survey results are reviewed with the council during a development workshop to gain a collective understanding of what is working well and areas for improvement. This can be supplemented with a follow on programme of training and development for the council based on survey findings.
