The full programme for the NHS Providers annual conference and exhibition is now confirmed with timings and available to browse on the website.
Highlights from day one
- Lynda Thomas, chief executive of Macmillan Cancer Support will share the work of the Richmond Group of Charities around untapped potential and bringing the voluntary sector's strength to health and care transformation.
- Dr Jonathan Perlin, president, clinical services and chief medical officer of Hospital Corporation of America, will focus on leadership, technology and transformation, drawing on his experience of delivering clinical services and leading the development of services at a national level.
- Jim Mackey will close the day with an update from NHS Improvement.
Highlights from day two
- Lord Carter of Coles will share his insights into operational productivity in the NHS.
- An update from David Behan and Simon Stevens, the leaders of the CQC and NHS England.
- Jeremy Hunt, secretary of state for health, will address the sector in the context of the imperative to return to financial balance, delivering efficiencies and meeting performance and access targets.
