Race Equality: Can we talk about race? November 2022
Race Equality webinar, held on 28 November 2022.
“Race equality needs to be spotlighted by boards, by integrated care boards, and by national leaders. It also must be considered with the current structures that we have - otherwise it is othered.”
This event explored:
- awareness and understanding of race from personal buy in to understanding the lexicon of race
- what enables leaders to be able to talk about race and how is this different for White leaders
- how leaders are involving their staff, patients, their communities and developing safe spaces
- proactive steps that leaders are taking to embed a culture of antiracism in their organisations.
