Highlights from day one

• Lynda Thomas, chief executive of Macmillan Cancer Support will share the work of the Richmond Group of Charities around untapped potential and bringing the voluntary sector's strength to health and care transformation.
• Dr Jonathan Perlin, president, clinical services and chief medical officer of Hospital Corporation of America, will focus on leadership, technology and transformation, drawing on his experience of delivering clinical services and leading the development of services at a national level.
• Jim Mackey will close the day with an update from NHS Improvement.
